September 22 - Hellenic and Hellenistic Art in the Met Galleries

It was such a pleasure touring the Greek vases with you last week, but time ran out so we were not able to study the Classical Greek sculptures (or Roman copies of Greek sculptures) and Hellenistic art in the Met's collection.  This week we will meet at 12 pm in the Met cafeteria, summarize our textbook reading and then go directly to the Greek galleries to finish our analysis of Greek Art.
